Picture Perfect Thank You Cards

What a Fantastic photo of this Beautiful couple!!! Crystal and DJ are just Picture Perfect here.... but the carriage driver is quite a distraction!! Why is he in this picture??  I'm sure he is a Fantastic guy... but without the distraction of his blue shirt, flip flops and Pepsi cup this photo would be AMAZING.... Check out the Before and After...

After I finished touching up this photo, I used it to design Crystal & DJ's Thank You Cards.  The Thank You Cards were then printed on a 14pt Glossy Card stock with UV coating....the finished product is a Beautiful Photo Quality card that they will be proud to send out to their family and friends.   This is how they turned out:

Do you have a photo you love but it could use a touch up??  You know... that photo that you've always thought..."This photo would be perfect if this or that wasn't in it."   I can help you out with that.  Contact me for more information.   Just click here and fill out the contact form and I'll get right back with you.

Thanks for reading!  I hope you enjoyed seeing how a few little changes can greatly improve  your special photos.

As Always,

Funny things our pets do

Today while I was zooming around, driving my mouse up and down the highways and byways of our information super-highway I ran across a Tweet from @O_Magazine  that said "How to go from Granny to Goddess with $35".   I'm not a "Granny" ... and I'm certainly  not a "Goddess"... but it sparked my curiosity... so I clicked.  Here is what I saw........ I know... its a puppy in a raincoat!!!  LOL...  I still don't know how to go from Granny to Goddess on 35 bucks...the page had nothing to do with Grannies or Goddesses .... the catchy title did its job though, it got me to click!

Now to you this may not seem so funny but it brought back some very funny memories of a dog I once had... and the rain coat I bought him!!  Now... in my defense... this was PRE children and he was the Very 1st Dog I ever owned in my life!!  I was 21 years old and his name was Rockie... a really awesome little Miniature Schnauzer... And of course... I spoiled him to pieces!!  Why this particular picture struck me so funny is this is exactly how Rockie looked when I would put his cute little yellow rain coat on.... but he wouldn't move in it... he would stand perfectly still ... for as long as I left the raincoat on him!  So even though he did not like the rain... I couldn't get him to walk and wear the rain coat at the same time... so going out for a potty break was just way too much for me to ask from the poor little guy!!

My daughter is now 21 years old and will be getting her very first puppy, Apollo,  at the end of this month!  She is already following in my footsteps.... Just the other day she told me she already has his personalized dog tags, a comfy harness, and a few other things to get him started!!  I'm so happy for her and cant wait to see and hear all her funny doggie stories!!

Do you have a funny doggie story to share??  I'd love to hear it!

As always....

Sunday rolled around way too fast!

I'm still smiling though!!  After the Insanely Busy week of designing I had last week, I was so ready for this weekend to get here!  I was also very excited because my oldest daughter was coming home from Purdue for a visit Friday night on her way to an out of town wedding on Saturday.   It was Absolutely Fabulous to get to spend some time with her.  When her and I are together we Love to cook!!  So we hopped in the car and made a quick trip to the Kroger just down the street to pick up a few things.  Headed back home and the cooking, cutting, chopping, stirring, sauteing, frying and grilling began!!  We talked and laughed and had a fantastic meal together!!  What an absolutely wonderful young woman she has grown into!!  I'm really having a hard time believing that she will be celebrating her 21st Birthday next week!!  My first baby girl is all grown up!!!  And I couldn't be prouder of her!!! I am truly Blessed to have her, to be her "Mama" and to have all the wonderful memories of days gone by and I look forward to all the future memories we will make, share and cherish together forever!!

It's been a pretty great weekend!!  With some much needed rest!  A fabulous bicycle ride around downtown Indianapolis this morning and now I'm getting geared up to get back to work!!  I have some pretty awesome projects to work on this week!!  I can't wait to see what I come up with!!!

Have a Terrific Sunday!!  and as always....

The Pencil Maker's 5 little lessons

A friend of mine shared the following on her FB page today... 5 little lessons that are so important... we all need a little reminding from time to time.... I really enjoyed this... and yes... it did make me smile!  Thanks for Sharing Tracie!

A PENCIL MAKER TOLD THE PENCIL 5 IMPORTANT LESSONS JUST BEFORE PUTTING IT IN THE BOX :

1.) EVERYTHING YOU DO WILL ALWAYS LEAVE A MARK.
2.) YOU CAN ALWAYS CORRECT THE MISTAKES YOU MAKE.
3.) WHAT IS IMPORTANT IS WHAT IS INSIDE OF YOU.
4.) IN LIFE, YOU WILL UNDERGO PAINFUL SHARPENINGS, WHICH WILL ONLY MAKE YOU BETTER.
5.) TO BE THE BEST PENCIL, YOU MUST ALLOW YOURSELF TO BE HELD AND GUIDED BY THE HAND THAT HOLDS YOU.

We all need to be constantly sharpened. This parable may encourage you to know that you are a special person, with unique God-given talents and abilities. Only you can fulfill the purpose which you were born to accomplish. Never allow yourself to get discouraged and think that your life is insignificant and cannot be changed and, like the pencil, always remember that the most important part of who you are, is what's inside of you.

As stated above... Always remember the most important part of who you are is inside of you.

Wishing you all a Beautiful Sunday.... and as always...

Roses, Balloons, Cards, Cake and Friends!

Well this has been a whirl-wind of a week!!  And what a great week at that!!  I remember coming up on my 40th birthday and really dreading the fact that the BIG 4-0 was creeping up on me.  I was going to officially be 'OLD'!  I really had a hard time coming to terms with those two little numbers sitting in that particular order and being associated with my name at the same time.... ugh!.  However, it was on that 40th birthday that I realized I didn't feel any different than I did the day before when I was still 39.... so hey...I guess I'm OK with being in my 40's!

Flash forward a few years.... I just celebrated another birthday...just count the candles in the pic.  No... not 8... lol  Two little rows of 4...  that's right... now you get it.... 44.  I know they used to say "a lady never tells her age"... well... I am still a lady... but I am proud of who I am and proud to be 44 years young!   I guess I still don't look too bad for an "old" lady... I still work out and try to eat pretty good... I maybe don't spring out of bed as quickly anymore... and it may take a few steps before the bones stop snap, crackle and poppin'.... but hey... I made it another year and I feel Fabulous!

I am just so happy and thankful for this birthday... Thankful for all God's blessings... so thankful for my Love... my wonderful family,  friends, for life and God waking me up every morning to give me another chance to make a difference in this world... another chance to help make someone else Smile.

So with this... I am sending out Many Many Thanks to All of those that helped to make my Birthday so very special... Every single thing was Fabulous!!   Wonderful breakfast, balloons in my office, Fabulous dinner, cake, wine and roses waiting on me after work and all the Incredible Birthday Wishes from All my Facebook friends!   Wow!!  What a day!!!  Y'all definitely know how to make a girl Smile!!!   And special thanks to my wonderful parents for a terrific visit and treating us to a Fabulous dinner last night and extending my birthday celebration for another day!!!   I will be enjoying my Olive Garden left-overs for lunch today!!!

Smile with your whole heart... you'll glow from the inside out!!!

Talk about a Fabulous Friday!!

I was up working very late Thursday night...  as I pushed snooze on the alarm for the third time I finally decided I better roll on out of bed.  Moving a little bit slower than usual, I got myself up and going all the while I kept telling myself... 'hey...it's Friday!'  I had a lot to do on my planner today... emails to reply to, designs to submit to printers,  new designs to make, say hello to all my FB and Twitter peeps... amongst all the normal daily tasks.  It was going to be a long day...but at the end of the day I knew it was going to be the weekend.  I had NO IDEA it was going to turn into such a FABULOUS FRIDAY!

Here is where my Friday turned into Fabulous Friday...
  • 2 Brand New clients before 10am!!!
  • An old friend that I went from elementary school all the way through high school with came by to pick up some graduation announcements I designed for his niece.  We had a great visit...and he loved the designs!!!
  • I got to meet BLUE!!!

If you know me... you know I grew up a Centerville Bulldog!!!  Once a Bulldog, ALWAYS a Bulldog!  I even owned two English bullies of my own a few years back....seeing Blue, hearing those wonderful bullie sounds... the snorts, the panting and even the slobber and how his tongue hung out of his mouth brought back so many memories of my bullies.... I miss them so much.... So this is for my bullies.... Sophie and Brandy.... I Love you and miss you and you are Forever in my heart!!!!

Yes!!!  This was a Fabulous Friday!! I smiled All Day Long!!!

Have a Terrific Weekend!!!

Smile with your whole heart....you'll glow from the inside out!!!
